===== From rgow@lanset.com: Nice sky! Good modeling & texturing. River looks toxic. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice textures - the sand looks great. Nice use of color - it was pleasing to look at. The stark contrasts made it interesting. ===== From kingofmycastle@gmx.net: Nice pic. Is this blood there on the lying pillar? ===== From kevinq2000@yahoo.com: Nice take on the subject. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: Nice lighting and the isosurfaces work great. But the message of the image isn_t strong enough. Something is missing. ===== From jrcsurvey@msn.com: Nice concept. I love the faux desolate look of the landscape and the = menace of the roaming cannons. Great dreamscape. ===== From p.gibellini@teinos.com: I like your choice of colors, it is very similar to the ones used by surrealistic painters! The dunes are very good, indeed. Do you think to publish on your homepage a little tutorial? ===== From intertek@one.net: Do you like Grant Wood? http://utenti.romascuola.net/bramarte/900/wood.htm I really like you picture. Maybe the baby canon taking a drink is to = cute but the colors and textures and overall composition is really very = nice. The cannons do seem animate but not very threatening. They don't = look like hungry wolves searching for something to sink their teeth = into. They are more like mama and baby ducks. I don't think there's = anything wrong with that. But your description seemed to suggest a = savageness that is missing in your image. The ground doesn't look much = like a brain to me. That's an interesting idea but the two sides don't = seem symmetrical and the texture and color is more like sand than brain. = I don't think many people would catch that reference with out your = description. You did say "like" instead of "is". You don't want to make = it literally a brain.=20
