JPGFILE: katmesh.jpg RENDERER USED: Bryce 5.0 TOOLS USED: Poser 4 for the model RENDER TIME: 2.25 Hours HARDWARE USED: AMD Athlon 2000+ IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Everything in the world has different textures, right? Well, what if it didn't? Would you be looking at everything the way you do now? Who knows. This is the only concept I could create that would cause everything to "Look the same" without actually "looking the same." DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: The cat was created using poser 4. It was saved as a .3ds file, and imported into Bryce 5.0. I then smoothed enhanced the amout of polygons in the cat. After I achived the "smoothness" I desired, I then inserted a simple cube behind the cat. I then enlarged the cube to give it a wall type apperance. Then I randomly inserted 3 spheres. After the placement of everything was satifactory, I then began serching for correct textures. I found the texture named "Time For A Change" and realized that it would look pretty cool if I textured everthing the same way. After that, it was just a matter of rendering it. I rendered it using Bryce 5.0 (of course). I set the render type to "Premium" and clicked the render button. 23 minutes later...I saved it as a .PSD file to keep the colors I needed. I opened the file using Photoshop 7.0, put my name on the bottom, then saved it as a .JPG. And bam...here it is. 2.25 Hours, that's including modeling, texturing, and saving. Hope you like it.
