===== From exether@demo.xandmail.com: I really like the image. Great work in decaying the rocks. ===== From noe.falzon@tiscali.fr: That's quite good ! I feel as if I were there. I nearly hear the comming goblins... ===== From god@rajram.com: It's not really original, but its amazing! Good job with the image! Except, there are some flaws. It isn't worn out enough. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Good depiction of Moria. Nice work with the isosurfaces. Rubble seems too regularly shaped for the cracks. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: I like the isosurfaces, the stone altar and the pillars look great. Also the cracks in the walls. But the textures need some work, they look to "Povrayish" to me. Good layout, great lighting, the radiosity settings are perfect. I guess the only thing that bothers me are the textures, not realistic enough, they look like something you could buy in a store, rather than natural rock. ===== From helene.dumur@free.fr: Amazing ! I love your picture, it's really the Moria. Looking at this, I can hear the voice of Gandalf... ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: Some nice work, though the axe needs some re-touching, and I am not sure why you chose a purplish color? ===== From Knight-Graphics@earthlink.net: Continue to push the limits of your imagination (and your computer). ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: Excellent work! The crumbling walls look great. I find the transition to blackness at the doorway on the right too sudden. This is probably meant to be the opening into a wide chamber, but since we cannot see the floor because of the camera angle, it seems "empty." ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Very nice, well lit. The textures seem a little monotonous, but I guess everything was cut from the same stone. Maybe a pattern of broken tiles instead of a smooth flat floor would look more interesting. ===== From file: Cool scene, great job with the stones. ===== From file: Cool scene, great job with the stones. ===== From file: Well done! I immediately recognized the scene (of course, I was named after a character of Tolkien's so...). The textures, however, were a little off. Something polished about even the rough stones. Good job, though. Notable for modelling, lighting ===== From file: Notable for modelling, lighting ===== From file: Notable for modelling, lighting ===== From file: This is excellent. Really, it's very good - a little bit tombraider and a little bit Kazadum and it makes a good picture. If only more people had done images to this quality. There are times when even for me, I feel that too many skeletons spoil the broth, as has happened this round with the Halloween skeleton convention. Sorry - I digress. I'm glad to see you didn't put any skeletons in. -RICH ===== From file: Great textures and lighting. I didn't see the cobwebs until I maxed the image size, but they look great Notable for modelling, lighting, textures ===== From file: Great atmosphere! Notable for modelling, lighting, textures
