===== From exether@demo.xandmail.com: Good idea. Nice lighting and modelling. Maybe a bit too clean, it doesn't look like there is people living here. ===== From god@rajram.com: I would never have thought of the simplicity. Its beautifully simplistic. But it has lots of detail problems (as you yourself mentioned) ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Media & lighting are well done. Could use more contrast. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: It_s funny, this room looks almost exactly the same as my image "hkadrop" which I created for the Frozen Moment round, which was by the way my first. My image was rendered from a different viewpoint, but the room looks the same. The sink, the cabinets, the window all are in exactly the same position. You can check it out if you like. You should pay more attention to your light, the placement of the camera, and of course to the textures. Light and textures are really the key. The floor tile look good, but the rest looks unfinished. The red vase is great. Also radiosity is washing away your contrast, (greying out your image) pay attention to ambient values of textures to get better defined shadow areas. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: I see you put a bit of modeling effort into it. Though the textures dont show up too well. Things look a bit too clean. ===== From Knight-Graphics@earthlink.net: It_s kinda boring. Continue to push the limits of your imagination (and your computer). ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The first thing that struck me as awkward about the scene was that the sky visible through the window didn't seem consistent with the level of light it gives in the room. The modelling for the table and stools is ver good. The artifact below the cabinet is likely from radiosity - try tweaking the settings to give higher quality. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Nice look, and a unique interpretation of the topic. Good job on the floor tiles. ===== From file: Wow, Sam, you are my hero! I wish everyone could be more like you! Or something.
