It's a very sad story : once upon a time there was a nice river, which flowed in
the middle of a green country, whith big trees, crossed by an old bridge whith
sturdy arches. Men have lived here, happy and serene. And then... earth has
begun to warm, inhabitants have neglected it, they have dropped their trashes
anywhere, and, in place of the nice valley, finally there is only a dirty
swamp, on which rusty irons, fat papers, old tires, and oil are floatting. The
trees have yet no leaves, they spread their emaciated branches in the middle of
a putrified fog.
And there, only strange frogs are living, in this stinking mist, while the old
bridge begin to collapse.

For the french speaking people..

C'est une bien triste histoire : Il _tait une fois une jolie rivi_re, qui
coulait au milieu d'une campagne verdoyante, avec de grands arbres verts,
enjamb_e par un tr_s vieux pont aux arches puissantes. Les hommes vivaient l_,
heureux et sereins. Et puis... La terre s'est r_chauff_e, les habitants ne
l'ont plus respect_e, ils ont jet_ leurs d_chets n'importe o_, et, _ la place
de la vall_e riante, il n'est plus rest_ qu'un mar_cage f_tide, o_ flottent
ferrailles et papiers gras, vieux pneux et coul_es d'huile, les arbres ont
perdu leurs feuilles, et tendent leurs branches d_charn_es au travers d'une
brume f_tide. Seuls des amphibiens mutants prosp_rent dans une telle
atmosph_re, tandis que le vieux pont, vaincu par la d_cadence, commence tout
doucement _ s'_crouler.

I don't remember where the frogs come from... Thank you for the unknown author
of those animals.

The whole scene is done width simple objects, lathes and CSG such as bottles,
cans, and other dirty things... I'm better for imagine than to realize !
I used the MakeTree macro (by Gilles Tran) for the unleaved trees and a hight
field to break the bridge. I have tried to make a naive picture, not a serious
one perhaps like a symbolic picture of the end of the human life (whith humor,
I hope..)
