JPGFILE: jecradle.jpg ZIPFILE: jecradle.zip RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 3.5 TOOLS USED: Poser 2.0, Python, Explode.inc, lens.inc RENDER TIME: 48 min 21 sec at 1600*1200, plus 2.5 hours for the monitor images HARDWARE USED: iMac 233 MHz IMAGE DESCRIPTION: In the Babylon 5 episode "The Deconstruction of Falling Stars" we see the last human watching the Sun give up the ghost. That is the inspiration for these last two humans watching our sun go kaplooey. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: There are six monitors in this scene, five of which have the results of other POV-Ray files. I used Chris Colefax's explode.inc and lens.inc files in the main image and in some of the monitor images. The two people were created in Poser 2 and exported to Wavefront's OBJ format, which I converted with a Python script. The interior textures are done with negative colors and specular highlighting.
