===== From shevlin@uic.edu: Interesting idea for the picture, but the image doesn't quite convey that idea. The bright lighting suggests sunlight, which I don't really associate with caves. The rocks, while wonderfully detailed, aren't sedimentary in nature (lots of parallel lines in the formations), and I think that cave rock has to be primarily sedimentary. Some foliage and other details might help lend the scene realism. ===== From helene.dumur@free.fr: A good idea, very difficult to realize that... Bravo Jean-Charles ! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: The concept doesn't communicate mythology well. Art is about communication. If the message is too esotric then goes by most people. ===== From jminner@sc.rr.com: I like the shadowing effect. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: The isosurface cave looks great with the radiosity. Shadows could be darker. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: A somewhat simple looking scene, but looks good nevertheless. ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The cave wall is done fairly well, but something about it gives the sense of too much smoothness at the smallest level. Perhaps adding one more level of superposition in the isosurface, or a second layer in the texture would help. ===== From skirsch@comcast.net: I'm not sure I get this and the technique seems a bit simplistic. ===== From file: Great rock texture. Interesting interpretation. Somewhat lifeless. Why not show the shadow of some action or several humans? Notable for textures ===== From file: Nice texture - but not very mythological.
