I love the greyscale look of this scene, a little more contrast would help make
out the finer details.
A good placing of the objects and overall composition works very well.
Reminds me of the old pictures in an encyclopedia.

What a charming image! The description is interesting as well as the image. I
agree with your note about the figures, -arranging figures  is a difficult
task.

Nice image.  The only suggestion is for the person working at the close table to
look like his hands are not just in mid air - if he were holding something or
had his hand on something it would have seemd a bit more realistic.

nice picture but very static and looks more 2d than 3d. I like the black and
white feel but I think a cepia would have been more like the times of this
scene.
