IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

I wanted to create an image which conveyed the isolation and beauty of the desert.
I did this by using a single cactus that would cast an interesting shadow in the sunset.
A lot of time was spent positioning the cactus and sun to get the shadow correct.
Lens flare was added to give a photographic effect.
