===== From chrisbianchi@earthlink.net: The lane and ball textures are great! I also like the lighting. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice looking image. I liked the camera angle that helped. This image would have been improved with motion blur to give the illusion of motion. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Nice one! Modelling, textures & lighting are all superb. My only negative is the black borders top & bottom IMO are stretching the post processing rule pretty thin. ===== From jacoons@ameritech.net: Good first entry! A few suggestions? Add more lights, since most bowling alleys have a lot of them. Try rendering at lower resolution and quality, with radiosity, antialiasing and photons off until you get things right, then use "the quality" settings for a final render (you may have several "final" renders). The pins seem a little too "bright". No major complaints - I don't see anything else I would change. ===== From jgrimbert@free.fr: Tech note halved for rules violations... why framing ? More detail for the background wall/mechanism would have got a better notation. ===== From bertram.henze@t-online.de: Technically homogenous and therefore credible, also interesting that the ball looks like Saruman's palantir. ===== From aj.ashton@gmail.com: I love the angle and the lighting. Beautiful picture. ===== From file: This is a very atmospheric picture. Choice of camera angle is dynamic, but a little too much (clean) reflection for my taste. ===== From file: NICE!!!!!! Notable for composition
