JPGFILE: thwok.jpg ZIPFILE: thwok.zip RENDERER USED: Art of Illusion TOOLS USED: Art of Illusion, Corel PhotoPaint RENDER TIME: 1 hour HARDWARE USED: Pentium 4 2.8G 1.5G mem IMAGE DESCRIPTION: This image is an homage to my favorite sport, tennis. I also give a nod to the greatest games of all, the Olympics. I made the look retro with a scratched, sepia-toned film look. Also the racquet is wooden and the ball is white which dates it back to early-to-mid 1900's. DESCIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I used Art of Illusion for all the work except for the Olympic rings image which was created in Corel PhotoPaint. The fuzz on the ball and the "flying fuzz" around the ball are solid objects created with a script. All 3D objects and textures are orginal and created specifically for this project. All textures (including the background sky and crowd) are procedural except for the Olympic rings which is an image texture. The sepia, scratched-film effect is a procedural texture placed on a translucent plane in front of the camera.
