This is pretty much the second scene I've done and personally I think there's great improvement from the last. This image has been a great learning experience for me, especially in various methods. Things I don't like and will change (eventually): The tree, I'd like it to be a maple but didn't have time to do that so I didn't. The leaves, they look a bit flat to me, I'd like to change that. The moon surface doesn't sit well with me. The sides of the basket are too flat. Don't like the stars. The clouds on earth seem too flat as well. Maybe add in a bottle of wine+glass. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Used an isosurface for the moon's surface and the Earth (image maps from NASA), a simple macro for the stars, Arbaro for the tree, a slightly modified grass macro from Gilles Tran, a bicubic patch for the blanket, and all the items that are part of the picnic I hand modelled in Wings3d.
