===== From emkaah@xs4all.nl: Good style. One of my favorites. ===== From helene.dumur@free.fr: Please... have a thought to the poor people not naturally english speaking, your text is so long... It's difficult and boring to read all that ! ===== From rgow@lanset.com: Some good stuff here. particularly the flames shooting up. The low polygon people detract from the realism, giving more of a painting aspect. Not sure if this was intentional or not. The camera should be further away IMO, as until I read your description I didn't even know it was supposed to be a boat. ===== From t.degroot@inter.nl.net: Nice. I like the very simple figures, they are very expressive. The fire is well done, however the splashes in the water look more like glass. ===== From bertram.henze@t-online.de: The flames look good, but the people should be burning much better because they all look like paper mache - Ok, living creatures are the hardest challenge in raytracing, and I have seen no credible example so far. The water seems to be liquid sugar - the splashes looking so solid and frozen in mid-air; real water would make tiny drops. ===== From slone@hiwaay.net: Wonderful characters, very stylish and well-posed. The splashes let the image down a bit, they look like ice. Great job on the ceiling flames. ===== From file: One of the two entries on this round that are technically AND artistically first class. Great job with the people: one figure has more character than ten Poser things. The fire is just brilliant and the picture has a beautiful contrast of yellow and blue. Only thing that doesn't look quite right are the splashes. ===== From file: One of my favorites, good rendition of the atmosphere of a fire (dynamic looking characters, vivid lighting, good camera setting), even if each element of the scene is not perfectly realistic on its own. Notable for composition, lighting
