Following the best minimalist principles and concepts that I could find, the image has been striped of everything but the most basic of elements needed to convey the idea of primary colours and how they can be combined to create meny different colours. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Each "pool" of light is constructed from three spot lights - one for each for red, green and blue. Fall off and focus effects are used to cause the colours to blend where the spot lights overlap. A small random offset is applied to each spot light to create the desired effect. The lights are pointed at a while plane with an ambient light value set to zero so that all unlit areas appear as part of the background.
