Time is relative, time is infinite, time is constant, Time is ending, time is frivilous, time is non-existant, But all in all, time is relative. -Allen This image portrays the lack of time in a place where time is infinite. Time in this place has no meaning or no constant rythym. Time can be bent or stopped. The hourglass, tumbling through space, has no way to keep time. But, who needs time in a place where time has no meaning. The theme is represented by the lack of time in the vaccum of space vs. the constrants of time in the hour glass. The theme is also represented in the fact that the hour glass is without the means to keep time. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: This image was created entirely by using pov coding. The hourglass was created using lathe splines. They were then textured with a wooden look and given a glossy finish . As for the glass, it was created with a difference of two lathes. To get it to become visible, I used a metallic finish. (I think it gave the glass an irridicance look, but who cares, it is shiny) The space scene was created using some galaxy macros that I had lying around on my pc. Other than that aspect, the entire scene was created and edited by me. Paintshop Pro 7 was used to add the water marks. (I would have used POV, but the code would not work correctly.) If you would like more information on how this image was created, please email me, I would be happy to help. Allen
