But how to represent it, I've choosen to get on an astroid with a speed limit sign and a robot. Then take a look at a Super Nova. The light from that should do. SCENE : size: 800 * 640 antialias: threshold .2 method 2 depth 4 frame level objects: 617 DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: Galexies: There are over 300 galexies each with around 100,000 stars. All galexies where made with POV. Each star was a sphere. To save memory I made 30 base galexies then save their pitures. I use those pictures on a disc and scale, rotate, and translate those discs. Speed Sign: This sign is all CSG and text Robot: I took my old robot from the last round and work on it a bit. Changing the face, dropping the ears and adding some meat on the arms. astriod: This is made of a merged torus & cylinder. Then I slightly scale 3 versions of that with different pigments. Each upper pigment has a clear spot in it. epilogue: Zip-File: Sorry no zip file the galexies would take to much space. By the way the light coming from this screen takes appoximatly 2.0*10^-9 seonds to reach your eye. My web page has some basic tools for working with POV-ray. All the tools are written in C++ and are for Windows. Feel free to E-mail me with any comments and or suggests. If you e-mail me make sure you have POV in the subject or I WILL NOT read it.
