HARDWARE USED: AMD Athlon64 2800+, 1024 mb Ram IMAGE DESCRIPTION: There are always going to be moments in life where you just have to let go, When the situation is beyond repair. This guy tried to fight the fire, but now he_s realized it_s not worth the risk anymore, now it_s time to run before it_s too late. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: I started this image less than a week ago. As I didn_t have much time, I decided to skip Povray_s time consuming media for something faster. All models are simple and made in 3dsMax, except the fire extinguisher and the chairs, they come from the Internet. The running man is a Poser model. The smoke is an inversed volume light effect, used with 3 directional lights and with a lot of fractal turbulence. The lights determine the thickness and the color of the smoke and give it a realistic quality. This type of smoke doesn_t slow down the render at all. It_s tricky to figure out how dense the smoke should be as it changes against the the background material and also different colored light makes different colored smoke. It also changes when GI (global illumination) is used as the background again becomes more visible. I guess you can tweak forever, now it_s time to let go.
