===== From joheriks@abo.fi: Eerie, nicely done. Good job on the modeling. The texture on the window frames could be improved though. ===== From rich@brickbots.com: Nice source image. I think one of the key elements that seperates the source image, and yours is contrast. Even with the fog obscuring the background, it would be nice to have a much wider range of luminence in the foreground. This can probably be accomplished with stronger, less diffuse lighting (think moonlight or sunlight) and brighter/darker textures. A bit more subtlety on the fog, with more of a volumetric feel would have been nice. In the original image you can see beams of light as the sun shines between buildings and that gives the image a very warm and special feel. ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: You need to work on your textures. They look unfinished. Also the light is not well defined, which makes the image look a bit flat, lacking depth. I like very much using the famous fog of London as a concept although the reference photo is not particularly foggy. Modelling human figures is always difficult, you must have put a lot of work in this image. ===== From dungbeatle@mail.tds.net: Could use some deeper looking textures. The proportions of the people and the horse look a bit off. It would benefit from a rough, cobblestone street or something like that. ===== From sshelby@shelbyvision.com: horse and people need improvement. ===== From simon_smith@zen.co.uk: That horse . . . worries me, as does the fellow in the foreground. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: It is obvious that you put a lot of effort into this image. Good work! ===== From file: nice lighting and use of themes. buildings could use rougher texture for enhanced realism. nice blob-work, I guess you'd say. Notable for composition
